RéparPC 44 is a computer repair service. No hardware, components or peripherals are sold. Work is carried out at the workshop, by appointment; no house calls are offered.

The service is for individuals and freelancers. Requests from companies are not taken on.

Not covered: Apple computers (Macs), building a desktop from parts supplied by the customer, and any sale of hardware.

Terms of service

By handing a device to RéparPC 44, the customer accepts the following three points.

  1. Ownership of the device. RéparPC 44 works on the basis that the equipment handed over belongs to the customer. If it does not, and the owner of the device was not informed, RéparPC 44 cannot be held responsible for the changes made to it.

  2. Equipment not collected. Where a device remains at the workshop uncollected, RéparPC 44 will attempt to reach the customer for a period of 30 days from the end of the work. After that period, contact attempts stop and the device may be given away, sold or stripped for parts. It can no longer be recovered.

  3. Data retention. Where a drive is replaced or data recovered, the customer's old data is kept for 30 days. During that window it can be handed back should a problem arise with the new storage. Beyond it, the data is deleted and destroyed for good, to protect the customer's privacy.

Quotes and pricing

A diagnosis is carried out before any work and a quote is given to the customer. No chargeable work is started without their agreement.

Intellectual property

All elements of the site (text, photographs, logo, layout) are the property of the publisher unless stated otherwise. Reproduction without prior written permission is prohibited.
